Proclaim Him

In times past men of importance had someone to herald them and their approach to a place. They will usually say their name with great eloquence and describe particular assets that they were well known for.

When God was about to approach Moses he had no one to Harold his name so he did it himself. Exodus 34:6–7 NASB Then the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, "The LORD (Yahweh), the LORD (Yahweh) God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; 7 who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin;
This is how God Herald himself and since we are conformed into his image by his love in us, this is how we Herald him to the world today. Father this is our faith confession that we are your herald to a lost and dying world.
